Sailboat - 9.6m — Jeanneau - Sun Odyssey 32i
The Accelerator is a Jeanneau Sun odyssey from 2006. The accommodation is best suited for a maximum of 4 people, they have 2 lockable Oceans Evasionins at their disposal. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, gas stove with 2 burners and an oven/grill. There is a separate bathroom with a pump toilet and holding tank + a washbasin with tap and hand shower. There is also a hand shower on the aft deck. The boat is also equipped with an electric windlass. The sails are newly installed in 2022! A nice set of triradial cut sails which can be reefed from the cockpit. The mainsheet is operated in the cockpit and has a traveller for sporty sailing. There is also an autopilot and the necessary navigation equipment including GPS and digital & analog water charts. The boat is of course for rent, but can also be rented with me as skipper. The advantage of a skipper is that you have someone with you who knows the boat through and through and is happy to share his sailing experience. NOTE: The boat will be given to you with a full tank of fuel. It is expected that you return it that way! If you plan to book this boat without a skipper, please do send me a message with a brief description of your boating experience. While a boating license is not required, it is important that you have relevant experience and can effectively sail this boat. Please note that if you cannot demonstrate sufficient sailing skills at check-in, I reserve the right to refuse service. Han loves to sail, and he loves his sailboat. And it shows! He just put brand new sails on and takes great care of her. We picked Han partly for his offer to be our skipper and instructor, too, and he helped us refresh our skills around the boat from motoring and docking in the harbor to getting the extra knot of speed out of the proper trim. We exceeded 8 knots! He is a very experienced sailor and was great fun to be around. As the boat does accommodate 6 people sailing, we had company most of the time. All had great fun, and two of our friends have since asked to book trips with him as well, and so will we come back for more… my wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Han and his Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32.
The owner, Han, is very friendly and available to accomodate your requests. We did not know the area and we preferred to have him on board, on weekends there is no extra charge and on top of it Han gave also good tips and advice from his large experience in sailing. The boat is good and fast. Sails are new and the boat in optimum status. Really recommended.
Han is a great skipper with very good knowledge of the local waters and marrinas. And a very relaxed approach to sailing. The boat is in excellent condition, everything works. I totally recommend it!

Han was very welcoming and did a quick tour around the boat, showing us everything we needed to know. The boat was in a great shape, exactly as described and we had a great time. The boat is just 20 minutes outside of Amsterdam, easily reachable by public transport and therefore perfect for short or longer trips within easy reach from the city.

I started sailing at a young age at sailing club ZO on the Alkmaardermeer. Here we sailed races in the Piraat and later the Euro Dinghy. After a period of windsurfing, which was very popular at the time, I returned to competitive sailing in a Kolibri a Dutch one design class. After the Kolibri I sailed a 1/4 ton Drifter 25. Then back in the centre board boats, first a Laser Standard followed by a Laser Stratos. Besides the Lasers, I have rented a number of Cruiser boats and sailed with various crews. At the moment, I own a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32i which gives me the opportunity to share my sailing experience with you.
