Tina was launched in 1974, she is a replica of the sailing yacht, Yankey which was launched in 1959. By the owner Irving Johnson, who was the most successful sailor of the last century, according to the National Geographic. Tina was built with the same dream to sail the world by the owner Host Van de Linde, but with time and work his dream was never fulfilled.. So I was asked if I would like to buy Tina 9 years ago and now being the second owner. Total laden she is 50 Ton and will always get you back to port (even in a heavy storm) with her 165 hp engine. Tina has been working day charters for the past 9 years but over the last couple of years, customers have requested for longer trips, sailing around Mallorca. I first came to the Mediterranean in 1986 with my father and have spent years getting to know the waters of the mediterranean and especially around the Balearics. Previous to arriving in Mallorca I was in the hospitality business in Ski Chalets in Chamonix, France. making surre customers had a fabulous time and were well looked after.
