The best time to go sailing in Istanbul would be between the months of May and October. Of course, the summer months are the peak tourist season in Turkey since the highest average temperature is around 28°C. Although the weather will be nice and perfect for sailing, the city will be overcrowded and you’re likely to encounter higher prices on Istanbul yacht rentals. In order to avoid this we recommend visiting in May or September so you’ll still have nice warm weather but cheaper prices when looking for boats!
