From our starting point, we sail diagonally across the Loosdrecht Lakes to begin this versatile tour😍, via "the Drecht"... via Pampus, through De Raaisluis, towards the Hilversum Canal.

You will enjoy this rural tour😍 with its many vistas and beautiful nature.

The Hilversum Canal was constructed between 1933 and 1937 as a job creation project during the crisis years to give the port of Hilversum a better connection to the Utrecht Vecht. The canal replaced the narrow and shallow 's-Gravelandse Vaart, allowing larger ships to reach the city.

We are now sailing towards the 't Hemeltje lock near Nederhorst ten Berg.

To continue the journey via the beautiful river Vecht. Via beautiful Vreeland and the nostalgic village of Loenen ad Vecht, returning to the Loosdrecht Lakes via the Mijndense lock.
