Why should you charter a yacht in Zakynthos with a skipper?

It is possible to opt for a boat rental in Zakynthos with or without a skipper. If you are an experienced sailor and have a valid boating license, you can hire a bareboat. The Ionian Sea has many beautiful natural attractions to visit and some of the best swimming spots in the world, meaning that you will never get bored.

If you wish to sit back on your boat trip and enjoy all that Zakynthos and the other Ionian islands have to offer, you can also hire a captain onboard. The captain will be able to guide you to all of the best spots in the region, making your holiday one to remember.

What do we offer in Zakynthos?

The majority of boat rentals on Zakynthos island can hold up to 10 people on board. It is also possible to rent a boat with a highly-trained crew. They will be here to ensure that your trip in Zakynthos is perfect and take care of all tasks, including cleaning and dining. A crew is available on all types of boats, including luxury yachts. Whether you are travelling with your friends, family or your special someone, there is no need to worry about anything because we will have you covered!

When should I hire a boat in Zakynthos?

In Zakynthos, visitors can enjoy warm temperatures during the summer and mild temperatures during the winter. The hottest months of the year are July and August with an average temperature of 35°C, but they are also the busiest. If you wish to escape the crowds when renting a yacht, we highly recommend travelling to this island between May and June or September and October. Sunshine will be guaranteed and temperatures will still be warm enough for you to swim and enjoy water sports.

What to do in Zakynthos?

Zakynthos is one of the most visited islands in Greece and rightfully so. The island boasts so many different things to see and do that it is difficult to see everything during one visit. We have compiled a list of our favourites for your next boat holiday:

  • Soak up the sun on the famous Navagio Beach, also known as “shipwreck beach”. Zakynthos rose to fame thanks to the crystal-clear waters which surround this sheltered cove. On the white sands of this beach, you can also see the remains of the MV Panagiotis, a container ship which ended up here in 1980.
  • Visit the stunning Keri Caves, an impressive rock formation along the southwestern coast of Zakynthos with bright blue waters. These caves are only accessible by sea, making the experience even more magical.
  • Sail to the islet of Marathonisi, known as “turtle island” and part of the vast Marine Park of Zakynthos. This small island is famous, as its nickname suggests, for being a breeding ground for sea turtles.
  • Soak up the local history and culture at the Panagia Skopiotissa Monastery, one of the finest pieces of architecture in the Ionian Sea.
  • When visiting Zakynthos, you are also within close proximity to other beautiful islands such as Lefkada, Kefalonia and Corfu. Corfu is known for its Venetian influences, Kefalonia for its unspoilt beaches and Lefkada for its impressive coastline. There are plenty of other islands to visit in this stunning region of Greece too with your private boat hire.
