Welcome to Glaros. Our Greek built motor sailor. Sailing in Greece; One of the most idyllic pastimes for millennia. Crystal clear blue waters, cool ocean breezes, hidden coves and secret beaches. Beyond Blue Sailing adventures offers you a new and exciting perspective on sailing cruises in Greece. We are a young dynamic company who’s main goal is fun and adventurous cruising. Our captain and crew naturally love sailing and diving but are also adventurers. Our crew are fluent in English, Dutch and a fairly good helping of German too. Our boat Glaros is a 21m Gullet. She is a hand made traditional Greek design built right here in Athens. She offers four double and one twin Oceans Evasionin, each with en-suite and shower facilities. Relax on deck or try your hand behind the wheel. Our crew have their own self-contained quarters below deck at the stern. We offer unforgettable moments and experiences, whether you want to get away from it all and lose yourself on deck with a cocktail and a book or you want to try your hand at snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, kayaking and paddleboarding we can cater for your every adventurous desire. Love food? So do we! In our galley we prepare fresh meals daily using local produce and ingredients. While we generally cook Mediterranean style food, we also infuse elements from around the world. We are based in the Port of Salamis on the hidden gem that is the island of Salamina. Only 15 mins from Athens by ferry. We offer transfer from Athens center or from the airport We offer a variety of different trips of different lengths and options. Beyond Blue…. SO much more than just a sailing holiday. boat trip was excellent and everything we hoped for! AJ and Daisy are great hosts. We were with group of 9 and enough space for everybody. Hope to be back soon!
Absolutely loved our time on board the boat; AJ and Daisy were lovely hosts. Make sure you get the half board because all of the food was amazing! Overall it was an unforgettable experience, highly recommend to everyone.
AJ and the crew have been absolutely fantastic! The boat was amazing and the crew helped make our trip a once in a lifetime experience! We got some amazing memories (and hundreds of photos) from it that we'll keep with us forever. Kudos to Vital for spotting a turtle off Salamina bay on the way back from the taverna!
Our group of 10 had a great time on the boat. AJ and daisy were very accomodating, organised and had great communication. A pleasure to sail with! Our trip had a good mix of relaxation on the boat whilst still getting to explore a bunch of gorgeous Greek islands. We had half board and there was variety and healthy food options. It was quite hot in the rooms as we were there during part of a heat wave but there were options to sleep on deck and fans in each room. Definitely great value for money. We would recommend these guys!
I think this wooden gulet is the most beautiful i have ever seen. Captain AJ is really a great professional with great experience and always solving all requirements and problems we could have: Friendly, very polite really a real British gentleman... Really a pleasure !!!!! The owners where always in charge of any matters ti make our holidays easy and confortable. I think the boat is amazing the best you can hire in Athens and really special if you appreciate great old boats like in times of Cristina Onassis!!!!!! Point out that the precie is relly worth for the boat you rent, it is in my opinion very low comparing to the market son value-money is very high. For sure we will come back. An exceptional holidays!!!!!!
Wonderful crew who took great care of us. Food on board was amazing! Beds were tight as you would expect on a boat.
