About the experience

Discover the full beauty and diversity of Montenegro’s coastline on this comprehensive boat tour of Budva Bay — a stunning journey that blends rich history, iconic landmarks, local charm, and two refreshing swimming stops in crystal-clear waters. Departing from Budva Marina, this extended tour offers an unforgettable way to explore both the eastern and western shores of the bay.

The adventure begins as you cruise past the bustling Slovenska Beach, the exclusive Dukley Gardens, and continue along the scenic stretches of Bečići and Kamenovo Beach. Along the way, you'll pass the charming fishing villages of Rafailovići and Pržno, offering a glimpse into Montenegro’s traditional coastal life.

The tour’s historical highlight awaits at Queen’s Beach, home of the iconic Queen’s Chair, a favorite retreat of Queen Marija of Yugoslavia. Next, admire Milocer Beach, where the private villa of Josip Broz Tito overlooks the coast, followed by a close-up view of the world-famous Sveti Stefan Peninsula, a luxurious hideaway for celebrities and global icons.

Your first swimming stop (20–30 minutes) is at the beautiful Drobni Pijesak Beach, before the boat crosses to the western side of Budva Bay. Pass by Saint Nikola’s Island, with a peek at its southwest beach, before arriving at Ploče Beach for a short 5–10 minute stop to soak in its vibrant daytime party vibe.

Next, enjoy your second swimming break (20–30 minutes) at Trsteno Beach, known for its shallow turquoise waters and soft white sand. The cruise continues past the expansive Jaz Beach, then to the glowing Calypso Cave and the dreamy Blue Lagoon, ideal for quick photo ops.

As the tour nears its end, you’ll glide past the twin beaches Mogren One and Two, framed by lush forest and rocky cliffs, and famous for the hidden stone path linking them to Budva’s historic Hotel Avala. Finally, sail by the Old Town walls and its quaint local beach before returning to Budva Marina.

With a sound system on board, ice box, shower, and luggage storage, you’ll be traveling in comfort the whole way. Just remember to bring your towel for swimming! Whether you're into history, nature, or just relaxing on the water, this tour delivers the ultimate Budva Bay experience.

I highly recommend Aleksandar and his boat. We booked a 3 hour tour of Budva bay for 22 of my friends for my birthday. Aleksandar was so helpful and accommodating going out of his way to meet our needs. Thank you for a great trip Alex. Would definitely use Mariola boat again.
