About the experience

Wonderful rental Jeanneau Sun Fast 39 maniacally maintained.

The boat is perfect for sailing with a maximum of 6 guests on board. It has 3 bed cabins and 2 bathrooms.

The itinerary that I always propose to my guests includes boarding from 6.00 pm in Chiavari. A departure around 9 am the following day from the port of Chiavari, with a navigation between Portofino and Camogli, and can continue up to the beach of San Fruttuoso (famous for cannot be reached by any means of transport). If conditions permit, night at anchor with dinner on board. Possibility of going down with a tender to the restaurant.

As far as weekly cruises are concerned, you can also think about an itinerary that includes the island of Capraia and Corsica.

Daily cruises depart at 9am and return at 6pm

    Sailing with Paolo was a truly magical experience. From the moment we set off from Chiavari, my husband, our three children, and I felt completely at ease. Paolo welcomed us warmly and guided us along the Ligurian coast with quiet confidence. Arriving in Portofino by sailboat felt like a dream — even in peak season, it was as if we had the sea all to ourselves. We swam in clear blue waters, enjoyed a delicious meal on board, and sailed into the sunset. We felt safe, serene, and completely free.     Paolo in an incredible and competent captain who has exceeded all of our expectations. My family of five had an amazing time. Paolo made sure my boys (18, 15, and 10) were always safe AND always having fun. He gave us options throughout the trip and adjusted it based on our experience level and abilities. We we wanted to push, we pushed. When we wanted to chill, we chilled. There is no better way to see the Ligurian Coast than in a sailboat and there is no better person to lead you than Paolo. We are happy to now call him a friend and someone we will call in the future to lead us to the next adventure. We will be adding more days to our next trip, now that we know what we will get.

    We spent a lovely day of sailing along the Ligurian coast on Paolo’s boat, stopping for swimming, lunch, seeing small picturesque Italian towns. The boat is in excellent condition and very responsive and easy to handle. Most importantly Paolo himself is an amazing skipper and host, with great local knowledge, speaking freely English which is a rare thing in Italy, and very interesting to chat to while sailing. I wish we had more time to spend on the boat and sail. Highly recommend.
