Starting location:: Porto San Vito, Grado, Italia
Navigation in the Gulf of Trieste: A scenic sail along the coast, overlooking the Friulian coastline and the horizon stretching toward Trieste. Relaxing moments amidst the sun, wind, and sea.
Stop in Slovenia (Portorož): Arrival in Slovenian waters and stop for about a couple of hours for swimming, diving, and free time in complete tranquility, immersed in a suggestive scenery.
Return from the West: In the afternoon, we return to Grado following a more offshore route, enjoying the charm of the open sea and the final moments of navigation before arriving in port.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip with Sergio (Grado-Piran-Grado). After a delicious Slovenian lunch and a refreshing dip in Portoroz Bay, we had good sailing winds for our leisurely return journey on the Grand Soleil 37. We're already looking forward to our next holiday in Grado and another sailing day with Sergio :-)

Sergio is a great sailor and company and he was able to transmit his sailing passion to all onboard. We went all the way to the beautiful coast of Slovenia, stopped for swimming in a couple of spots, and had an awesome day of sailing. The Grand Soleil is a great boat, fast while stable and comfortable. It's got great lines and Italian finishing details. We were able to hit 7.5knots on the way back, on close reach. I highly recommend this experience to anybody interested in sailing from the beautiful Grado port to enjoy amazing views and to swim in the super clear waters of Slovenia.
