    We were 6 adults and 3 children aged 5 to 10. The boat sails well. However, there are several technical issues. The grab rails on the console are broken and no longer hold, the sun awning for shade on board is broken and doesn't stay in place, so we couldn't keep the children in the shade during the day, which was very inconvenient… one of our daughters suffered from heatstroke despite wearing protective gear (hat/UV-protective t-shirt, etc.). The freshwater shower wasn't in its original housing; to use it, we had to open the hatch and run the hose through the rear locker… The hinge on the driver's console hatch (for storing gear) is broken, and the hatch kept falling open while underway… all these issues have been photographed and filmed. We had filled the fuel gauge to 6 bars just before handing the boat over to the owner (as it was when we left with him, we kept the receipt and a photo of the gauge), but when he checked the level, it only showed 5 bars… The owner refused to acknowledge the difference: 1 bar less = €35. Absolutely no compensation whatsoever for the boat's technical issues, zero. There was tension with the owner, and he made inappropriate remarks and spoke to us in a very unprofessional manner. I advise anyone looking for a boat for a family outing to look elsewhere; there are plenty of other options.

    We booked a boat trip with Fred and the experience was simply extraordinary. He showed us the best spots around La Madrague all the way to Frioul Island. The route was customized to our preferences, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend booking with Fred for your next excursions if you want to spend an unforgettable day experiencing the wonderful hospitality of Marseille :)
