This Frisian Tjalk, originally built around 1920, was converted into a motor barge in the 1970s. This 4-6-person motor barge is perfect for a fun holiday on the water with friends or family. One of the biggest advantages of sailing this boat is that you can explore a wide area with its low clearance and draft. Learning to sail is easy and quick, and a boating license is not required. The hull and superstructure were repainted during the 2024/2025 winter season. The gearbox was replaced in 2022, and during the 2024-2025 winter season, the propeller shaft and pre-filter housing were replaced, and a new charge controller for the solar panels was installed. The boat is equipped with a powerful inboard diesel engine, refrigerator, toilet, 3-burner stove, 12-volt connection, operator's seat, swim ladder, cushions, and shore power cable. The Hamal also has two cozy cabins and a toilet with a sink. We have two identical 11m tjalks for rent. The third is also a tjalk, only 9.50m.
