    Jose arrived at the agreed-upon location on time for the handover. This was in a small town south of Ibiza Town, which was advantageous because it didn't have to start right away in the hustle and bustle. The pick-up and return were straightforward. We also rented the wakeboard, and with eight people on board, the boat had plenty of power. I highly recommend Jose.

    I had rented a boat from Juan Jose on 28 Aug 2024 in Ibiza and after I returned the boat to the owner later that day, the owner insisted that I damaged his boat. The boat has been taken out of water and I straight away was shown 2 spots with chipped paint at the bottom of a boat one in the front and one at the back of a boat, both in size of 1cm. I was told that I damaged his boat by riding it on rocks. I was unable to see those paint chips before I rented a boat because the boat was already on the water. The next day Juan Jose had sent me the boat repair invoice for e586.85 and charged my credit card with the amount of e692.45 (fuel included in the charge), returning the rest of deposit (the deposit taken initially was e1.500). I had contacted insurance company I had purchased the boat insurance from and supplied them with all necessary documents from the rental. These documents were accessible from Click&Boat website. The insurance company has requested one more document from the owner, which was “check in and check out inventory report” to justify the boat condition before and after rental. So I had written to the boat owner and asked for such document but Juan Jose has refused to give it to me. I kept asking Juan Jose for this document for months but was told I was not going to get it. I had exported all WhatsApp text messages sent/received to/from Juan Jose in which he confessed that I was not able to see bottom of a boat because it was on the water already and if I ridden it on rocks, then the bottom of the boat would have been heavily scratched or broken. I then contacted my bank and supplied them with all documents I had, and thankfully I was given all the money back from Juan Jose. Juan Jose was given 45 days to reply to the bank about this issue but he did not reply because he knew from the start that what he did was a scam. Beware and avoid this dishonest boat owner.
