About the experience

Want to experience an authentic day immersed in nature, in a small group and without any stress? Join me from the Grand Piquey pier or the port of La Vigne, on the Cap Ferret peninsula, for a discovery of the Arcachon Bay.

Aboard my rigid inflatable boat, we'll embark on a complete loop of the Bay. We'll first follow the peninsula to the tip of Cap Ferret, before crossing over towards the Banc d'Arguin sandbar and the legendary Dune du Pilat, where you can swim, have a picnic, or even climb the dune. Depending on the tide, we'll explore secluded sandbanks in the middle of the bay for swimming breaks in a pristine setting.
We'll continue our trip along the Arcachon coast, passing the iconic stilted houses and circling Île aux Oiseaux (Bird Island). Throughout the day, I (or my son Adrien) will be there to guide you and take care of the boat; all you have to do is relax and enjoy.

Departure at 9:30 am, return at 5:00 pm.

Fuel is not included; expect to pay around €50 at the end of the day.

Day trip for 5 people, including 3 teenagers. A great day, just as described. The captain was discreet, straightforward, and attentive to our needs. Thank you. We went to the tip of Cap Ferret and the Banc d'Arguin. He gave us a good hour to climb the Dune du Pilat, where there were almost no people. We also discovered the huts on stilts next to Bird Island, as well as some great swimming during this tour of the Arcachon Bay. The advantage of this type of boat is that you can stop wherever you want and dock directly on the shore. I highly recommend trying this pleasant day out.
