The Dalmatian islands sit just off the coast of Split, and few people know these waters the way your skipper does. He holds a professional skipper licence, started teaching sailing at the age of 11 and has logged more than 100,000 miles across the Mediterranean. On this private day aboard the sailing yacht Bavaria 46 Cruiser Cosma, you leave Split behind and head for crystal-clear bays and charming Dalmatian stone towns, with the whole boat to yourselves.

Cosma is a comfortable sailing yacht of 14.4 metres, built in 2008 and renovated in 2021. She offers plenty of space to relax, both on deck and below, with cabins, bathrooms, a galley and a saloon, and ample room for lounging and sunbathing. It is a good choice for a family day or a trip with friends who want space to spread out and enjoy the sea at their own pace, away from crowded boats.

The 7-hour route takes you across the water to the island of Brač, where you swim and sunbathe in the clear waters near the town of Milna. You then explore the quiet bays and stone towns of Šolta, discovering Krušica bay or the town of Stomorska, before sailing back into Split by 17:30. There is time to swim, to rest on deck and to try the paddleboard on board. Along the way your skipper shares what he knows about the history, culture and food of Dalmatia, and he speaks English, Croatian and Italian.
