The Stockholm Archipelago is a wonderful area for sailing. There are any number of beautiful and interesting islands. You can choose your daily sailing distance as you like, there are so many islands ...
Most waters are sheltered from strong winds and waves, giving an easy sailing experience.
After the Swedish holiday season (approx. 15.8.), buying food, refilling water and access to hot showers must be carefully planned, since some guest harbors and shops close down.
A GPS chart plotter (or app) with the special Hydrographica maps is a must if you want to explore the smaller and most beautiful groups of islands.

The skärgården is a beautiful destination with many cute little islands, not too many waves and good winds.

The archipelago is a hidden germ, not many outside of Sweeden know. I’ve been there at the fourth time and still find new spots to explore in those many thousand islands just in front of Stockholm.

Hello, we had an amazing time with Fredrik, he took us out for half the day. He was really welcoming to everyone, took care of our needs, answered our questions, and was super patient with the kids. We highly recommend going out with him!
It was one of the best travel experiences that my family and I have had, exploring the Stockholm archipelago together will forever remain in our hearts!

Our stay on Rani was great! The boat fits the motto: „old but gold“. Everything you need is on board, kitchen tools, a SUP, a solar panel that is enough to charge all your devices and provides power to the fridge as well. The check-in procees with Thorgerdur was seamless and she explained everything we needed to know about the boat. She was always available if we needed to know information about the boat or anything else. Thanks for the great time in the skärgården!

Oliver and his partner were great, really easy to communicate with and left the boat in really good condition. I would definitely recommend them to rent your boat.

Fredrik is as an amazing host. He made the whole booking and meeting process very simple. He then took us on a wonderful 3hr sunset tour in his fabulous boat which is extremely comfortable and even provided blankets when it got cold. FWIW, Stockholm is an amazing city to see from the water. We had two days here and this was by far the best thing we did. Would thoroughly recommend both taking a boat AND using Fredrik to skipper you.

We had a really great time on the boat and a warm welcome by the owner. She was very helpful during the charter and always on standby if we had questions.
The boat sales quite fast for its size, having a pretty big for sale helps, especially with lighter wind winds.
Everything on board was working, and the size of the boat is perfect to explore the Archipelago.
I can fully recommend the Charter and hope you have also a great time.
