About the experience

Hello,

For those who love Carteret: I invite you to join me aboard my 7m Barracuda, equipped with a 200hp engine. We can accommodate up to 6 people. In calm weather, the cruising speed is 20 knots…in choppy conditions, the trip can be quite exhilarating.

The boat is fully equipped with safety gear, and we always remain within cell phone range.

I live in Carteret – 80 meters from the harbor – during the summer and spend a lot of time on the water, cruising and fishing: with a line, lobster pots, or nets. I can introduce you to these techniques or teach you how to use them with me.

You can explore Carteret Beach and Headland, Portbail, the Vieille Eglise beach, the Écréhous islands, go fishing, swimming, tubing, and enjoy the sun and tranquility offshore…

Sometimes dolphins or seals keep us company… I even saw a sunfish off the headland…

P.S.: The port's opening hours determine the availability of outings, which usually last between 2 and 4 hours (to be discussed). A full-day trip requires leaving at least 7 or 8 hours before the port gates close.
