About the experience

Depart from the Port of Catania and let yourself be whisked away to one of the most secluded and enchanting corners of the Sicilian coast. A four-hour boat ride with two professional skippers will take you to Baia Arcile—a sheltered natural cove near Brucoli, far from the crowds, where time seems to have stood still.

We set sail south, skirting La Playa di Catania with its golden sandy beach and majestic Mount Etna in the background, then we cross the Gulf of Catania into the open sea, accompanied by a sea breeze.
Our destination is Baia Arcile in Augusta: a picturesque cove with crystal-clear waters, the famous turtle rock, and perfect seabeds for snorkeling and SUP.
The ideal place to slow down, swim, and forget everything. On the return journey, the late afternoon light offers a completely different perspective of Mount Etna from the sea—perhaps even more beautiful than the one we saw on the outward journey.

On board, you'll find everything you need for a perfect day: welcome prosecco, two bottles of wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee, water, and a generous finger food menu featuring typical Sicilian products. Also included are a SUP, snorkeling equipment, beach towels, Wi-Fi, electricity, and final cleaning.

Skipper (€300), fuel (€800), port taxes (€300), and catering (€600) are paid directly at the port.

The tour will start from the port of Catania, where guests will board and begin sailing southward along the southern stretch of Sicily's eastern coast.
The Beach of Catania
Shortly after departure, we will coast along La Playa, Catania's historic and expansive golden sand beach, offering a panoramic view that beautifully frames the coastline with Mount Etna standing in the background.
Sailing across the Gulf of Catania
We will continue our direct navigation across the gulf, enjoying the open sea and the marine breeze as we leave the Catanese coast behind and head toward the Syracuse province.
Arrival at Baia Arcile (Augusta)
The journey will culminate at Baia Arcile, a picturesque and sheltered natural cove located just before Brucoli. Here, guests can relax, enjoy an unforgettable swim in crystal-clear waters, and admire the unique "turtle rock" and the breathtaking coastal landscape.
Return Cruise to Catania
After a relaxing stop, we will weigh anchor and head back north. Guests can enjoy the late afternoon light over the Gulf of Catania and take in a completely different perspective of Mount Etna as we approach and safely disembark at the port of Catania.
