    We booked a boat through this website and everything was confirmed in advance. However, when we arrived at the location, the person in charge (named Michalis) demanded an additional €100 payment on top of what we had already paid online. This was never mentioned before and felt dishonest. On top of that, the boat itself was in very poor condition. The engine did not work properly – sometimes going at very high revs and then suddenly dropping very low. We did not feel safe at all taking this boat out on the open sea. Overall, we cannot recommend this rental company. The unexpected extra charge and the unsafe condition of the boat made this a very negative experience.

    I would definitely recommend Michalis if you want to rent a boat in the beauty of Rhodes! I rented a small boat (without license) for 5 persons together with my girlfriend in Rhodes this week. When we arrived there were a lot of guests and Michalis did a very good to job to help all the guests on his own and also gave a very clear explanation of everything we needed to know. Since the lady was a bit scared in the waters and a bit seasick, we eventually decided to return earlier as booked. When we returned, Michalis immediately offered us a refund and a huge discount on all the other offers he could give us. Overall not something we personally would do again but I can garantee that Michalis is the number one person to go to if you would like to rent a boat or do some other cool wateractivities when you visit Rhodes!

On arrival, we had to pay an additional €50 for insurance and €100 for fuel, which was disproportionate. The insurance wasn't for the boat, however, but for service and safety contact. Our anchor got stuck in a rock, and we had to let it go (the boat wasn't left there carelessly), and then we would have had to pay another €70.

    Overall, the process was okay, but unfortunately, communication was poor, as neither of them speaks proper German or English. I had actually rented a 60 HP boat, but only got 30 HP, and the response to my inquiry was quite arrogant. ...I would ask too many questions and give some strange explanation that this was a boat class between 30 and 60 HP. Cons: No possibility to refuel myself. They charged a flat rate of €100 per day, which I consider excessive, and you can never exceed it. Driving: Only a limited area is permitted in which you are allowed to drive. Since GPS is monitored, I was immediately called because I was probably a few meters over the limit, which wasn't clearly explained or marked with a map. Also very annoying is the very poor mooring. There are very sharp stones here that can hurt your feet when getting in and out. At least a small mat would have been helpful for getting in and out. The boat is a positive: very fast. It's not the newest, so the equipment is mediocre, and some parts are very worn and functionally limited. For example, the broken cleat for securing the anchor...made it very difficult. Overall, for the price, it's mediocre value for money.

    Absolutely brilliant from start to finish! Firstly, our booking got stuck in the ClicktoBoat app, and the vendor got it sorted super quickly. We were actually a few days before the season started, and he arranged a boat for us anyway on very short notice (1 day!). Boat was modern, clean, fully fuelled and, as I had never driven a boat before, we were given a crash-course in how it worked which meant it was easy. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a boat hire. Idyllic views, calm sea, warm weather and great service too. Just perfect!

When we showed up at the meeting point on the agreed day, he canceled the tour, even though we had driven there 45 minutes by car. We exchanged cell phone numbers and a short message would have been nice and would have saved us a lot of "pointless" time on vacation... very annoying... The boat rental company also wanted almost 200 EUR on site, even though we had received an online offer of 255 EUR excluding fuel and had already paid. There was never any mention of the 200 EUR extra cost. When we then wanted to cancel the tour completely due to incorrect information, he suddenly waived the 200 EUR... The boat tour could then take place the next day. Before the tour, a flat rate of 100 EUR for fuel MUST be paid. The boat rental company gave us a cooler box that was already completely broken. The lid could no longer be attached. As expected, the lid of the cooler box flew into the sea during the trip. At the end he wanted another 30 euros for that. Overall, we can only advise against booking a tour with this operator! He tries to rip people off on site. There are much more lucrative and cheaper offers.
