    This was the most stressful and unprofessional booking I’ve ever had. Francesco added another contract the night before, charged us €300 more for fuel (despite confirming in writing on click&boat that our price included all costs), and then screamed at me over the phone when I asked for a simple written confirmation before handing €600 in cash to the skipper. We were already out at sea and felt completely trapped. To be fair, the skipper was kind and professional, but Francesco’s aggressive behavior ruined what was meant to be a surprise celebration for my friend’s wedding. We ended up paying far above the agreed price. Francesco Piras: The charter contract is mandatory in order to carry out this activity, and the one we use is of a high standard—it’s the MYBA standard contract, which is likely the most widely used worldwide. Even on Click and Boat, it is clearly stated that a formal charter contract will be provided. As for the fuel, our listing clearly states that fuel is not included. I’ve never had a client be surprised or unhappy about the need to pay for fuel—it's a consumable good, and as stated both in the contract and in the listing, it must be paid for based on consumption (the consumption rates are listed in the description—just read it). I did not raise my voice on the phone; rather, I was confronted aggressively by you simply because you did not want to pay. Regarding the receipt, of course I can issue it without any problem (followed by a formal invoice), but only once I have actually received the payment. You were asking for a message confirming receipt of the funds before I had actually received them—obviously that doesn’t make any sense. In fact, as soon as you handed over the money, I immediately sent the receipt. I'd also like to point out that you sailed for around 4 hours and therefore consumed over €300 in fuel, but due to the issue with the embarkation port (which was not our fault), I decided to give you a discount on the fuel cost. Given how things turned out, I now realize that was a mistake. In 15 years of business, I have never experienced such a situation or such an attitude from a client.
