"Good Wind" is the wish of those who sail the seas, of men and women who sail. It is a timeless wish, and wishing for good winds is a symbol of good fortune for one's journey.
Buonventosailing is a small company born from a great love and respect for the sea, combined with the pleasure of welcoming and sharing the wonderful coasts north of Trapani and the Egadi Islands with our guests.
Our boat trips are designed for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in nature for a day, admiring the rocky landscapes of the islands from the sea and diving into crystal-clear bays: from experienced sailors to those who want to discover the thrill of sailing powered by the wind for the first time, to families with adventurous children.
The meeting point for the daily excursions is at 9:00 a.m. at the historic Cantiere Cintura shipyard in the port of Trapani.
Once we've cast off, we'll begin sailing toward the bays we'd like to visit, depending on weather and sea conditions. These include: Cala Rossa, Cala Azzurra, and Bue Marino on the island of Favignana; or Cala Fredda, Cala Minnola, and the evocative Faraglioni on the island of Levanzo.
At the first stop, after just over an hour of sailing, you can take your first dip, and snorkelers can enjoy the colors of the seabed. Diving masks and snorkels will be available on board.
During the second stop, our skipper will prepare a tasting of typical local products, accompanied by an excellent, chilled white wine.
After a pleasant and relaxing day together, you'll enjoy a final swim in the afternoon, and in the meantime, we'll be pleased to offer you an aperitif with fresh fruit. Return operations will begin around 4:30 PM, and we'll resume sailing under full sail toward the port of Trapani. Arrival is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
We offer both day trips and short cruises departing from Trapani and Favignana. The boat that will lull us on the waves is an elegant Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40, featuring a large cockpit and a large awning, a swim platform with a ladder, a large deckhouse with cushions for relaxing, and a shower for refreshing yourself. Below deck, you'll find a bathroom, a comfortable dinette, a cabin with a bed for changing, and a galley with a stove and oven, a refrigerator and freezer, a Bluetooth stereo, and USB ports in the cockpit and dinette. For water sports, we offer SUPs, masks, and snorkels.
