About the experience

“El Sultan” was built in 2006 at the “F.lli Vidal” shipyard in Burano and launched on June 24th of the same year. The bragozzo is a typical flat-bottomed fishing and transport boat of the upper Adriatic (designed for shallow waters), which had fallen into disuse with the advent of modern fishing boats and motorized transport vessels.
“El Sultan” is built entirely of wood based on a 1950 design adapted for improved navigation with luff sail. It was decorated by young artists from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, reinterpreting the classic designs of typical Venetian boats.
It is certified by RINA to carry 12 people. It features two side benches with cushions, two seats on the traveler, and a sundeck on the bow. It is also equipped with 220W electricity, a refrigerator, a sun awning, and a rain cover.
