About the experience

We depart from Vieste at 9:00 a.m. and sail along the Gargano coast for nine hours. It's one of the most extraordinary stretches of coastline in Italy: white limestone cliffs that drop directly into the sea, sea caves accessible only by boat, fine sandy coves surrounded by rocks, and deep blue water unlike any other. All this is within easy reach of a boat, far from the crowds that overwhelm the main beaches in summer.

The main stops are the Architiello di San Felice, one of the most famous natural arches in the Mediterranean, and the Baia delle Zagare with its sea stacks that emerge from the water in an almost theatrical manner. In between are sea caves to explore from the inside, hidden coves where you can stop for a swim, and stretches of coast that can only be seen by sailing close to the rocks.

The skipper knows every corner of this coast and knows where to stop based on sea conditions and the time of day. The price is negotiable based on the boat and group, with a €100 supplement for the skipper. Contact us for a quote and available dates.

The Gargano from land is beautiful. From the sea, close to the rocks, it's something else entirely.
