MARATHONISI Turtle ISLAND: This small, uninhabited island — shaped like a turtle — rests in the turquoise waters of Laganas Bay’s Eco Marine Park. A serene haven with golden beaches, it serves as a nesting site for the endangered Caretta-Caretta turtles. As you sail past, you’ll also admire the charm of Cameo Island on your right — a true island fairytale.
KERI CAVES: Tucked along the dramatic southwestern coast of Marathia Cape, the Keri Caves are a stunning network of sea-carved formations, renowned for their crystal-clear waters and striking limestone cliffs. We had the most incredible boat trip around Zakynthos! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable. The scenery speaks for itself, crystal clear waters, hidden caves, and stunning beaches, but what really made the day so special was the captain and his mate. They were absolutely amazing, so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had the best time. They took us to some breathtaking spots, shared local stories and history, and even went the extra mile to make the trip fun and relaxed for everyone on board. You could tell they truly love what they do. It was the highlight of our holiday and something we’ll never forget. If you’re in Zakynthos, this boat trip is an absolute must, you won’t be disappointed! We even saw a huge turtle. David
