Hello everyone, We offer you an offshore course from June 19 to 30. Come sail and cross the Channel aboard the Sun Fizz. We have 3 places left on board for this crossing. The price is 1560 euros/person excluding on-board cash register (food, diesel, berths, cleaning). Timshel is a 40-foot Sun Fizz whose reputation is well established. A very seaworthy and well-built monohull, it is equipped for coastal and offshore navigation. It has been completely renovated by Jérémy and Daphné and offers great living and navigation capabilities: 3 double cabins, a large convertible bed in the saloon, toilet and bathroom, fridge, capacity of 500 liters of water, a beautiful and large chart table, plenty of storage space... For safe and high-performance navigation: spinnaker, bimini top, offshore equipment, new running rigging, etc. It will be the ideal support to introduce you to or improve your habitable sailing, while offering you the comfort necessary to enjoy a beautiful week with family or friends. 12-day offshore course - From June 19 to 30, 2024. The Scilly archipelago from Douarnenez Offshore sailing course: crossing the Channel to reach the south of England. Discover the exotic Scilly archipelago, while learning or improving your skills in sailing to become independent. Here is the program for your offshore internship. This route may change depending on weather conditions. Day 1: Boarding in Douarnenez at 10 a.m. Take the helm of the sailboat departing from Douarnenez, the sardine town with 3 ports. After refueling and the safety briefing, the Iroise Sea opens up to us. We will stop for the night in Camaret or on the Crozon peninsula. This navigation will be an opportunity to get your bearings on board and get to know each other. Day 2 and 3: Crossing the Channel The next day we will leave for the Channel crossing and 24 hours at sea. Everyone will be able to participate in life on board, take their watch and experience these privileged moments, suspended, out of time between sky and sea. It's your turn to discover the open sea in safety and sail under the stars, perhaps even in the company of dolphins and phosphorescent plankton. Day 4 to 8: Discovery of Scilly We will anchor on the Scilly archipelago, a change of scenery guaranteed thanks to its exotic nature, its translucent water and its English culture! Why not enjoy a fish and chips in one of the Saint Mary’s pubs or take a stroll among the tropical plants of the Tresco botanical garden. We will take advantage of cruising between the islands to perfect our navigation techniques and observe seals and puffins. Day 9 to 11: Return crossing After a few days spent on the archipelago, we will set sail again for the long crossing and a stopover on the wild island of Ouessant and/or the island of Sein. Day 12: Return navigation to Douarnenez Then we will head south to find the bay of Douarnenez.
