Located in the second largest natural harbor in the world, the Port of Mahón, it can accommodate up to 10 people (including skipper) on day charters and sleeps up to 7, with 3 spacious double cabins, a saloon with a sofa bed, a fully equipped gas kitchen with oven, and a full bathroom. Book now and let the Mediterranean do the rest. The Dufour 35 Classic is a J & J design with a relatively modern hull shape. The hull has a fairly pronounced "U" in the forward third, and the lines gradually flatten out towards the stern. The bulbous keel and the slim, suspended rudder complete a pleasing design. The boat is built with its main bulkheads and frames laminated to the hull. The counter-moldings used—some of which are visible behind the furniture—are for the saloon and head furnishings, without being essential to the overall rigidity or adding excessive weight. The 35 Classic doesn't particularly excel on any particular course or wind speed, but it performs admirably in all conditions it might encounter upwind. The rigging is practically masthead rigged, without backstays, and with two sets of slightly angled spreaders. The boat can handle up to 62 m² of sail upwind for a displacement of 4,500 kg. This is a reasonable proportion for the fast cruising program of this model. REQUIRED: PER (Recreational Skipper's License) with sailing extension
