Description of Nicola's motorboat
Motorboat - 8m — Schiavon - Mototopo Chiozzotto
Discover the authentic soul of the Venetian lagoon aboard the TORTUGA, a carefully and passionately restored wooden bragozzo from Chioggia. Accompanied by a skipper and a dedicated assistant who will accompany you throughout the experience, this six-hour tour will take you to discover Murano, Burano, and Torcello, three extraordinary islands that encapsulate the history, art, and magic of Venice, away from the crowds. Departure is flexible: we can set sail from Fondamente Nove or any other convenient point. As soon as you board, you'll be greeted by a relaxed and familiar atmosphere, amid the scent of wood, the tranquil sound of water, and the precious slowness of sailing the lagoon. The first stop is Murano, world-famous for its centuries-old art of glassmaking. Here, you can watch a demonstration in a historic furnace and stroll through the island's artisan workshops, canals, and churches. After about an hour, we'll set sail again for Burano, the lagoon's most colorful island. Its vibrant houses, lace-making traditions, and authentic atmosphere make it a must-see. You'll have free time to explore, have lunch in typical restaurants, or bring something on board to enjoy while sailing. The third and final island is Torcello, the oldest and quietest. Here, you can immerse yourself in a timeless atmosphere, visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta with its precious Byzantine mosaics, admire the famous Attila's Throne, and stroll along nature trails. Aboard the TORTUGA, you'll find comfort and simplicity. The awning offers shade from the sun, wooden benches allow you to relax while sailing, and fresh water and a glass of local prosecco will be provided. The skipper and assistant will always be available to share interesting facts, answer your questions, and ensure every moment on board is pleasant and memorable. The tour is designed for small groups, up to 8 people, to ensure an intimate, authentic, and personalized experience. However, for larger groups, alternative solutions are available: contact us and we'll find the best option for your needs, ensuring everyone's safety and comfort. It's the ideal tour for couples, families, groups of friends, and anyone who wants to experience Venice from a different perspective, authentic and far from the usual tourist routes. Set sail with us for six hours of pure wonder, where every island tells a story and every moment becomes a memory.
