My boat is a Swan designed by Ron Holland in the 80s. A boat conceived for off shore regattas of the time. Powerful and very safe. In those years Ron Holland designed for Nautor a racing boat with a large aft cabin, expanding the living spaces. Comfortable to sail even in rough seas. Eight places in single beds. Tuscany is my region! In my opinion the stretch of coast north and south of Piombino offers beautiful beaches and cliffs with beautiful sea. The Gulf of Baratti is one of the most beautiful with the Castle of Populonia overlooking the gulf. From Baratti you can sail towards the Island of Elba passing along the cliff of Buca delle fate en route to Cavo and the beautiful beaches. In case of a weekend you can see beautiful coves near Portoferraio or Porto Azzurro. I bought this boat in 2018 in Ravenna because it allows long-range navigation and because notoriously swans are the sailing boats par excellence. My boat is located in Baratti in the summer and in Marciana Marina in the winter.
