Our yachts are generally rented by the week. Outside of peak season, you have the option of booking shortened or extended weeks upon request, or agreeing on individual handover days and times. The handover day is usually Monday. We will do our best to accommodate your wishes. The detailed boat briefing by our harbor staff will give you peace of mind and a sense of security. Guests without a license will receive a charter license briefing (EUR 75.00). Yes, you read that right: there is an exception for charter yachts in inland waters – in our region, rented yachts with more than 15 HP (restricted to 12 km/h) can be driven with a so-called charter license. With this charter license, you can drive your rented motor yacht for the duration of the rental in the license-free region, essentially a temporary license. Our harbor master, Oliver Kusay, and his team will be happy to advise you on scheduling a wonderful tour. You can see on our map how impressive you can sail along natural waterways, even to the Baltic and North Seas, to Berlin or Schwerin (please note: in some of these waters, a corresponding boat license is required). Our yacht has hull insurance (€2,000 deductible per claim) and yacht liability insurance up to a claim amount of €2 million (€1 million per person). However, experience has shown that private liability insurance provides greater coverage in some cases, so we also recommend skipper liability insurance. A deposit of €2,000 is required before departure. Please bring the deposit in cash. This deposit covers the maximum amount of your deductible in the event of a claim. If the yacht is returned undamaged, you will of course receive the full amount back. To be on the safe side, we recommend taking out deposit insurance. We hand over the boat with full diesel and full water tanks; the waste water tank is empty. Please refill the fuel you use before returning the boat and pay for it on site. The same applies to the emptying of the waste water tank. At our marina, you'll find a gas station and a sewage disposal station.
