Hello everyone! The Gayleez is a 100% wooden sailboat listed as a French heritage vessel. It's moored in the port of Le Lavandou, where I live. Built in 1961, it offers almost all the comforts of a modern boat. Mahogany, teak, and oak are the precious woods from which it's made. The boat can accommodate a maximum of 4 people, so there's plenty of room. Freshly restored, I invite you to spend a few hours at sea enjoying an aperitif at sunset, or at sunrise for the early birds, with a breathtaking view of the islands in the Bay of Gaou Bénat, considered one of the most beautiful in the world... French-Canadian, an experienced sailor, and a volunteer sea rescuer (SNSM), I adapt to your desires, needs, and aspirations for the day. The idea? We head out to sea an hour before sunrise or sunset, sailing towards a sheltered bay to witness the most beautiful and inspiring spectacle of the day... To accompany this peaceful and rejuvenating moment, we enjoy breakfast or an aperitif with some toast featuring local products to discover. And why not: a quick swim, an introduction to meditation, learning the basics of sailing... or simply doing NOTHING... It's up to you ;) Well-being guaranteed during this timeless interlude... Je navigue depuis 40 ans sur bateau à moteur ou voilier (préférence voilier!). Un vraie passion pour la voile et ses découvertes quotidiennes. J'adore la navigation de nuit pour le calme qu'elle procure. Je sors par (presque !) tous les temps, seul ou accompagné. Je suis sur l'eau 2 à 3 fois par semaine. Capable de faire face à toutes les avaries ou situations difficiles. Je ne prends pas le moindre risque quand je suis accompagné, et au moindre signe d'inconfort, je calme les choses en réduisant la voile et la vitesse. Je connais la baie du Lavandou et ses îles comme ma poche. Je suis Sauveteur en mer certifié (SNSM). Coach professionnel de 56 ans, je sais détecter les premiers stress quand ils apparaissent, et je suis capable de rassurer et offrir un cadre relaxant et sécurisant. Et la voile ? C'est mon kiffff, surtout devant un verre de rosé, un coucher de soleil, et un fond de Norah Jones... Tu vois l'idée ;)
